TANZANIA
Ideal for the safari and beach enthusiast.
Arrive in Kilimanjaro, climb the highest mountain in Africa and marvel at it’s all year round snowcap, experience the abundance of wildlife in the Serengeti, visit the Ngorongoro Crater. Visit Selous and Saadani National Parks, marvel at the views of Lake Manyara and Tarangira or combine your stay with a beach resort on the coast or on the island of Zanzibar.
WHEN TO GO:
Tanzania is a land without real winter. Temperatures in northern Tanzania range around 32 degrees from May to October. From November to March the daytime temperature varies around 35 degrees. However, if you are travelling to high altitude areas, of course the temperature drops substantially. The long rains are between April and June while the short rains are in November. When going on safari or visiting the Ngorongoro Crate, do take a warm jacket.
